Youth Trip to London
In September of
2009 some of our youth made a trip to England. They visited churches, assisted with youth ministries,
participated in youth ministries and visited the YWAM (Youth with a Mission) base in Birmingham. They had a chance to stay with British
families and learned firsthand about the struggles British youth encounter
growing up in a culture whose parents seldom spoke of Christ or spiritual
things. Our youth were surprised
at the depth of commitment the young believers had and their involvement in the
church and church outreaches. It
was challenging as well as life transforming. One of our youth is returning to the UK to join the YWAM Discipleship Training School in January 2010.
